I enjoy discovering new places and often find myself sharing links to new places with family and friends. Often these conversations start with "Have you tried...".

This is a blog/review page but I won't give scorings to venues - our experiences are very much influenced by the day we visit, what we order and the experience we have with those who we visit with. It would feel unfair to give scorings based on what I chose to order!

I will review my experience in the hope that this might give you an idea of somewhere to visit at some point in the future.

A lot of the reviews will be of coffee and cake - I love coffee, cake and café culture generally. I enjoy this with family, friends and also by myself. Sometimes when working from home a trip to a great coffee shop and a spot of people watching is just what you need to re-energise your working day.
